After just 14 months as a police officer for the Austin Police Department Skalnik spent the rest of his life as a career criminal, con artist, and alleged sex offender. He recently was quoted in a lengthy expose as saying, "I still do have law enforcement inside of me."
Skalnik is a typical jailhouse snitch. A criminal at heart he spent his life getting busted, learning all he could about the people he was locked up with, and offering to testify against them if he got a light sentence.
